We believe that art is vital and transformative.

Founded in 2013, NextStep is a pre-professional youth dance company inclusive of aspiring dancers ages 12 – 18 who wish to pursue dance as a means of self-expression as well as offer community service through entertaining and dance education. NextStep provides a community, performance-based company that is non-competitive encouraging a connection between dance and community. Through this process of unification, dancers develop a strong foundation of camaraderie and acquire persistent dedication.

Under the direction of Dale Julian-Bierce, founder and artistic director, the company performs the works of guest choreographers from all over as well as student choreographers.
